Non-identifiable Information
Halogen Media Group collects anonymous, non-identifiable information about visitors to our website and our partner’s websites. Non-identifiable information includes, but is not limited to, a numerical identifier for a visitor, visit date, site, referring URL, IP address, browser type, and operating system type.
This data may be used for the purpose of measuring advertising performance, to deliver relevant ads to visitors, to report on ad delivery, or for other related purposes.
This data is never correlated to any personally identifiable information that a user may have submitted.
Methodology
Halogen utilizes JavaScript tags to collect data, the same type of tags used for the vast majority of online advertising tracking and delivery. The tag utilizes cookies to identify visitors, which are small text files stored on a visitor’s computer containing an identification number for each user. The tag does not collect any personally identifiable information; the only identification is via the anonymous number storied in the cookie.
