Awards season is upon us.

And no, we’re not talking about the Oscars…although we love red carpet fashions and movie clip montages as much as anyone. But the event that we at SocialChorus are waiting for with bated breath, scorecards, and party trays full of snacks is the Ragan Employee Communications Award.

The judges at selected finalists from a pool of more than 150 submissions, searching for the highest quality initiatives from around the world. And our partners over at Ford were given a well-deserved nod.

Ford is a finalist for a 2017 Ragan Employee Communications Award in the category of Mobile App. BlueOvalNow (powered by SocialChorus) allows users to connect with the BlueOvalNow community and access Ford news…as well as uploading pictures and requests for content. The customizable feed also lets you prioritize relevant content, and through sharing content the app allows you to become a social thought leader.

But when it comes to the appreciation being shown SocialChorus customers, Ragan’s Employee Communications Award is only the tip of the iceberg.

Our partners also appeared on Fortune‘s “Most Admired Companies,” a list that documents the most respected companies globally. And “respect” isn’t just a nebulous term: Fortune works with Korn Ferry, a global management consulting firm, to crunch the numbers and determine who gets the coveted title of “Most Admired.”  They follow a scientific approach, surveying the executives of nearly seven hundred companies across fifty industries and twenty-nine countries to determine which companies are most admired and respected.

As Fortune reports,

To determine the best-regarded companies […] Korn Ferry asked executives, directors, and analysts to rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. A company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry to be listed.

Ford also nabbed a spot on Fortune’s “Most Admired Companies,” but they’re far from the only SocialChorus customer gracing the star-studded list. Also included are (drumroll, please):

  • Abbott
  • AB InBev
  • Boeing
  • Caterpillar
  • Diageo
  • Dow
  • Duke Energy
  • General Dynamics
  • Hilton Worldwide
  • IQVIA Holdings
  • Newell Brands
  • PVH Corp.
  • United Technologies Corporation
  • Vodafone

We want to tip our hat to these SocialChorus customers. Because while we’ve always known they deserve to be nominated for awards—and that they’re definitely worthy of being considered some of the most admired companies on the planet—it’s always exciting to be given some well-deserved appreciation.
